There has been much hype surrounding the Diplomats reunion. After the release of the banger "Salute Me" and appearing together for the first time in years at the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards the Harlem collective have been the topic of much hype in the rap and hip hop community. The dates for their highly anticipated forthcoming project and official reunion concert are getting closer and closer. On November 26th this fantasy for many will be a reality when Cam'ron, Jim Jones and Juelz hit the stage at Hammerstein Ballroom in the one and only New York City.
Remember the days when guys who actually fit a small or medium sized t-shirt where all sporting XXL t-shirts and reciting word for word every verse off of Dipset Anthem? On every corner of every street. Those were definitely the prime days of the Diplomats. Do they still have it in them? Do they still have what it takes to rock the mic? Fans or not we all can't wait to see what they put out. Jim Jones recently told MTV News that they have recorded a few songs with Dr.Dre in the studio and Cam revealed over the summer that almost 10 tracks for their comeback were completed. So i think it's safe to say that after everything that the set has been through that there will still be a Diplomatic Immunity 3.
