The new Kung Zhu hamsters currently have two groups - the Special Forces hamsters and the Ninja Warriors hamsters. At first glance, you might thing that these hamsters are your garden variety Zhu Zhu pets, but they aren't! How will you know? Well that's the fun part!
Each of the Kung Zhu hamsters has an alter ego that only comes out when it reaches the "Tablet of Zhu", which is a training arena that ultimately transforms each character into it's Special Forces or Ninja Warrior personality! Then they become fighting militants using each of their special armors and weapons which are sold separately.
The new Kung Zhu hamsters are being essentially marketed to boys this year, as Zhu Zhu pets last year were mainly popular with girls. The new sector of hamsters will also include Rangers and the Skull Tribe Battle hamsters as time goes on.
As each hamster reaches the training arena and is trained in it's own unique battle style, you will see a complete transformation into rough, tough fighters! And with all the cool accessories you can purchase to go with your Kung Zhu hamsters, you'll have a whole battalion of hamsterrific fighting action!
Each Kung Zhu pet will cost you right around $10US, or you can get a set of four for around $35US on Amazon.com. Accessories such as the Battle Armor sets will run around $30US and the Battle Arena and other training grounds will cost anywhere from $17US on up.
