How to get more twitter followers and other ideas for publicity on a budget!

In order to achieve high volume traffic to your social media platform I have come across numerous different hints n tips to reach 500 followers' or get more followers', most of which involve paying to advertise your page or spamming other peoples pages until they know who you are... not the best first impression to make especially if your business is inspam filtering.

I'm not a big fan of these methods but I understand the necessity that's placed on them by the pressure of appearing popular. However I have to say that personally the biggest hook I have come across to date was on PR guru Paul green'stwitter page... and I fell hook and line. :)

The value of FREE advice

I loved it, the idea of getting something free by following this guy on twitter was something totally novel and I gotta say in my case it worked! What was even better was that the free book was not some electronic copy that I had to download but instead a few days later a paperback arrived in the post addressed specifically to me... I was chuffed! Sometimes the personal touch and a tangible freebie can do wonders, so take note!

I'm just finished with the book and ok there's no mind-blowing discoveries in there but then again I wasn't really expecting any, because to be fair with regards to PR the key is often in the correct application of core theories and practical thinking. However for handy tips and hints it's great, easy to follow and gets to the point avoiding the baffle which is just up my street.

Chapter 4 in my opinion has the ability, at least in part, to be applied to all businesses so I thought I'd give you a summaryof the self-titled 21 killer ideas for free publicity... consider itMaildistiller's freebie to you!lol
