An opinion poll among school graduates was held recently and it resulted that students turn great attention to their future education, as they understand that from the choice of university can influence all their future life. And it is clear for them, that they have to take care of it in advance.
What is the main point to interest them? Undoubtedly, it is guaranteed job placement after graduating. Take a look at the list of the main criteria:
Of course, the first is job placement (28% of respondents);
Issue of diploma that can be quoted all over the world (26%);
The third place was divided between reputation of university and in-depth study of foreign languages (per 15% respectively);
Geographical location of university (9%);
Material and technical equipment (7%).
What sources are usually used by school students to learn more about universities?
Visiting university exhibitions and Door Open Days (29%);
It was extremely popular to find future Alma Mater through Internet (19%);
Taking into account advices of parents, friends, school psychologists, university prospects (18%);

How long are students looking for suitable university?
Since the beginning of the last school year (38%);
Some students responded that they haven't started yet their search (31%);
Some students began to look for university since summertime (23%)
And some told that they have been looking for 2-3 years or haven't made their choice yet (8%).
Results of the poll showed the real picture of students' attitude towards their future education and the choice of university. It is rather good that the majority of school graduates have already made choice. Besides, this poll showed that they consider choosing of university as something very important and judge by sufficient criteria. The only thing left is to wish good luck to them and to see how the deserved universities give them good start in life.
