Height is something i wasn't blessed with, so unfortunately cannot relate to tall people. My father and aunt however tower above me like giant bean poles, so I can kind of sympathise with their plight, despite the fact that I will never reach the lofty heights of tallness, after taking after my short mother.
So at a time where the obesity argument rages with larger people being forced to pay for two airline tickets to fit in their seats, tall people are starting to raise the issue of the lack of space in coach. Tall people feel that actually, obese people can lose weight, while tall people really cannot do anything about their stature. They also complain that as well as the obvious problems like lack of space to put your head and feet, it is also difficult when you need to put the tray rest down to eat or aid your comfort when reading or doing crosswords.
Most airlines are cashing in on the idea that people want a little more space, and saving seats with extra legroom like on the wing or the bulk hear, either for their frequent flyers, or for passengers prepare to pay a little more. If you are taking a relatively inexpensive flight from San Francisco to Las Vegas, the ninety minute flight will cost you an extra twenty four dollars each way for a wing seat. It hardly seems fir that people are charged this extra cost when they ate merely born with longer legs.
If you are travelling this winter make sure you have Holiday Insurance. If you make multiple trips in the year then why not try an annual travel insurance policy to save you money.
