The 1000 Calorie Challenge My Story
The 1000 Calorie Challenge My Story

I have always struggled with my weight, bouncing from diet to diet. I'm always excited in the beginning "I can do it this time!" And I do great! For two weeks. Then I'll slowly start to find those old comfort routines again.. I enjoy a big meal, I like to snack in front of the tv.. My friends can do it, and they look great! I'm just not wired that way.

The last real diet I went on was that' low carb one. I felt tired all the time, headaches, though I did see results. The cravings were still there, and it wasn't long before it was just a piece of toast here, a sandwich there. Oooh, cupcakes! Nooo! Before much longer, I was back where I was and more!

I bought a gym membership last year with a friend of mine. Every month they'd deduct from my account as a haunting reminder, "I should probably go". I felt like they were taunting me with each monthly withdrawal, knowing that the only time I saw the inside of that gym was filling out the paperwork.

I knew there had to be a better way, so I started digging a little deeper. I didn't need a diet, I needed a complete overhaul in my lifestyle. I needed motivation to do it, and I needed to stick with it. I found some information on some guys named Arnel and Joel, and their 1000 calorie challenge. They broke things down to me simply, but never talked down, and their first module is specifically for people like me. They brought me up to a level I thought I'd never see, and I'm forever grateful for that. This year I've lost 53lbs with their program, and I have the tools I need to keep it off. I sleep better, I feel better, my love life is great.. And more importantly, I still love cupcakes (more sparingly now!)

If you can relate to my story and are ready for a REAL change, please look into the 1000 calorie challenge. I wish I would have found them sooner, I spent more money on that gym membership and it would have saved me a lot of regret!
