Controlling Mood Swings: What Stopped Them For Me

For me, the hardest part of dealing with menopause symptoms was controlling mood swings. The mood swings were the worst, they seemed to set me aside at the oddest times. One moment I would be just fine and the next I would either be in a fit of rage, in a fit of tears, or in a state of depression. It really was the strangest thing ever to deal with. Had I not known that I was going through menopause, I would have seriously though that there was something mentally wrong with me and that I needed medication.

But, the truth was, I really did need something to level out my menopause symptoms and my uncontrollable mood swings. If they kept up, I was probably heading towards divorce, or at least that is what my husband kept threatening me with! So, I made an appointment with my doctor to try to get this under control and move on with my normal life. What they prescribed to me were your standard anti-depressants. The problem was, they had side effects and I hated them. There had to be something better than a synthetic medication to help me control my menopause symptoms.

That's when I really began the search to find something that was going to work better. This just wasn't cutting it. I started doing some online research into natural therapy replacements to help with menopause symptoms. I had to find something that was going to be better than this; I didn't want to take a medication every time a symptom popped up. So, for me there had to be something that would be able to help with controlling mood swings, and dealing with the other symptoms I felt. Amberen was that, and it is amazing. I discovered it via a good friend of mine and I also did some reading about how it had helped other women. I even was able to use their "try it first before you pay" option so that I could check it out and see how it worked.

Amberen was a life saver to me including my best friend. My life has been different for me over the past several months and my husband surely agrees with me.
