Miniature English bulldogs are loyal and love to be part of what's going on around the house. Being mini sized, they are perfect dogs for smaller houses that don't have much backyard play room. These dogs are also ideal for appartments as they are the size of a (full bulldog) puppy when at their maximum size!
Taking care of your miniature bulldog should include weekly grooming, examination of face, ears, and skin. Take proper look at their teeth to notice any potential damage. Check their eyes for discharge or their skin for any unfamiliar spots. Take them out for exercise on the daily basis - but not much room is needed for these little creatures!
23 to 42 lbs is the expected weight for miniature bulldogs. Typically, they stand at about 13 to 15" shoulders, and up to 25" in length. Other than that, they are much like the original English bulldog that you love, just a more compact size.
To adopt a miniature English bulldog contact the local animal shelter and request to be notified if they happen to get one. Also, you can look around local bulldog breeders and ask if they breed miniatures. The cost for miniature bulldogs may be slightly higher than original bulldogs. Some miniatures can exceed $1200, but cost varies on the bulldog's looks, history, parents, health problems, etc.
Training miniature bulldogs isn't much different from training full grown English bulldogs. Much of the same rules apply and just because they're smaller in size doesn't mean they don't need to be trained!
Lastly but not least, don't buy any dogs from pet stores. Those are traumatized creatures in prisons that are nothing but "tools" for those stores to make money.
