subject: Rascal Flatts Tickets - Robin Roberts Is A Huge Fan [print this page]

Most people in the country scene are familiar with Robin Roberts, but not because of her many country hits. Robin Roberts is the co-host of Good Morning America. She again became connected to the country world recently when she was part of the "Opry Goes Pink" on October 2. The show at the Grand Ole Opry was created to bring awareness to breast cancer since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Roberts was on hand because she is a survivor of the disease and was joined by Carrie Underwood. Jo Dee Messina, Lorrie Morgan, Mindy Smith and Terri Clark all performed. Roberts also has another connection with country music as she was a country music DJ (under the name Robin Rene) from 1981 to 1983 in Louisiana.

She has interviewed many country stars over the years, but Robin knew exactly who she would want to be stranded on a deserted island with. She told TheBoot online, "Anybody in Rascal Flatts would be fine with me! They're my boys. They are fun, good people! They're sports fans, as I am. I'll take any of those three ... I'd be living happily ever after." They weren't the only country stars who make Roberts swoon, though, as she went on to also say, "Keith Urban, when he brought his mama the first time he came here ... I love anybody who loves his mama as much as he does. He is delicious. I love that straggly look to him that is just so appealing. I have to say also, Tim McGraw. I was so embarrassed ... He was on our concert series (in 2005), and he was the biggest draw for our concert series that year in the park. He's just all man. When he came walking up, I said, 'I'm not supposed to do this, but you are the most incredible human being I think I've ever laid my eyes on!'"

Roberts isn't the only ones who singled out Rascal Flatts. Session band Toto is set to be inducted in the Musicians' Hall of Fame in Nashville on October 12. Toto chose Rascal Flatts to induct them, as they are good friends as well as fans of the band. After that gig, Jay DeMarcus, Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney will hit the road again, making stops in California before heading to Canada. No matter where they go, Rascal Flatts tickets are top sellers, and fans can get theirs online.

Rascal Flatts has been one of the favorite bands on the country music scene since they released their self-titled debut album in 2000. That trend has continued, as they are nominated for the Vocal Group of the Year at the CMA Awards, which will be held on November 11. In addition to their debut album, they released Melt in 2002, Feels Like Today in 2004, Me and My Gang in 2006, Still Feels Good in 2007 and Unstoppable in 2009, along with live and greatest hits albums. Those albums have yielded top-charting hits like "These Days," "Bless the Broken Road," "My Wish," "What Hurts the Most," "Take Me There" and "Here Comes Goodbye."
