MECHANISM of LIPOSUCTION
SUCTION-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION
This is the conventional way of Liposuction. The Surgeon inserts a needlelike cannula into the desired area of the body, and after moving it to and fro, sucks out the excessive fats with the help of a sucking device.
ULTRASOUND-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION
In this method, a special type of cannula is used, which transmits ultrasound radiations into the affected area. Although it takes more time, it causes less blood loss.
POWER-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION

TWIN-CANNULA LIPOSUCTION
Here a double cannula is used (one into the other). The inner one does not move and only sucks, thereby avoiding any chance of damage to tissues.
WATER-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION
A narrow water beam is directed towards the target area that loosens the tissues to be removed. A continuous supply of water is required.
POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS
Any undesirable outcome of Surgery will be regarded as complication.
