Successful people realize there is nothing holding them back and that if they want something they need to have a definite plan and be persistent about it because riches do not respond to wishes and listening to what others have to say will only lead to a few more bad days if they worry about them criticizing you.
People who succeed think and breathe positively. Worrying about other peoples' negative remarks will only bring you down and when you get down it will eventually bring your whole network down and when a whole network thinks negative it can kill the organization and lead to financial hardship.
Howard Schultz, the developer of Starbucks coffee, was criticized many times about bringing the Italian-style coffee shops, where people could relax and enjoy fine coffee at the same place, to the United States. Now Starbucks is a household name in the United States, brings in billions of dollars in revenue and has created the coffee shop industry to boom in this country and even around the world.
If Howard Schultz would have listened to the disbelievers about his concept for coffee the he would not have made over a billion dollars and people would not be able to enjoy the Starbucks coffee they enjoy drinking everyday.
The truth is that you are missing out on a lot and you are missing out on not only your desires and imagination to be successful but your whole life itself if you live your life based on what others think. When somebody does not like you it does not matter because they have no control over your ambitions, wealth, success and happiness in life because only YOU have that control.
Successful people make their lives the way they want them to be and by worrying about what others think will only hold YOU behind from what YOU really want to do in your life and in your network. Nobody else has that control over you and that is why we can all be powerful in life if we want to because it is only ourselves that have control over our own power. Bill Clinton became the President of the United States because he gave himself the power to do it.
