The service focus is developed by community members and organizations according to their current needs. Often, community partners feel that learning about local culture, history, sites, and issues is as important as volunteering. Types of service may take many forms. You may be able to:
Teach English to children and adults who are eager to learn
Assist with construction on local school buildings and community facilities
Create community gardens that contribute to a vibrant center and gathering place
Cultural & Recreational Activities
Swim in the Caribbean or snorkel in cenotes
Tour the Mayan Ruins of nearby Tulum, a jewel of the Caribbean coast
