I remember the days when I first started to make rap beats. The Internet wasn't what it is now and I was always checking out my local computer store to see what music making software they had. It's fairly new and is still evolving but for something like this only 10 years ago you would have been paying top dollar. What I like about it is as soon as I stumped up my money (only $30's!) I had it downloaded and installed in under 10 minutes. I pretty much knew how to work it straight away but for newbie beat makers you also have the help of a few step by step tutorial vids at hand if needed.
I found it extremely simple to start banging out beats almost straight away. Now I hold my hands up, I'm not the worlds best when it comes to making a world class rap beat but I'm not bad and the quality of sound this produces is top notch and now my beats sound pretty amazing. I think this is in part because the samples included are all recorded in a proper music studio so they sound great right from the start.
The DUB turbo software is downloaded to your computer to make your beats but this is only part of the package. There is also the DUB turbo website with the members area. In the members are you can buy extra sound kits or beats if ever you wanted to, you can find support if ever you have a problem, view videos and more.
Nothing like this was so easily available 10 years ago with slow Internet connection speeds, lack of PC memory and slower processors. I have to say when I make rap beats today I enjoy doing it even more now than then.
