Does LocalJobsForAll Work?
Does LocalJobsForAll Work?

I am a currently unemployed clerical typist / receptionist / transcriptionist / professional coffee fetcher but I digress, the point is like thousands of other Americans, I'm looking for work. And while I do some freelance gigs on the side, it's not the equivalent of a full time job, and that's what I am really looking for. One good thing about the the freelancer thing is though, that I have time to apply for jobs online. Now historically I haven't really had the best of luck with that type of thing, I fancy myself to be more of a show up for it and get it done type of person. But while your personality does a lot of talking in the hiring process, more and more employers are turning to online resources to find employees, so there's got to be a happy medium there somewhere, right?

Well, I'd heard of some of the bigger players, and to be honest I've not really had the best of luck with most of them. Monster just makes me feel confused, I can never seem to remember my password for it and to sign up for it is a monster in itself! Indeed has been my site of choice in the past few years due to its relative simplicity when compared to other job sites of the same caliber. A friend mentioned a new site called LocalJobsForAll.com. Being the somewhat cynical person that I am (especially when it comes to all things internet) I really wasn't expecting much. But lo and behold, I was greeted with a simple interface, concise listings and a spam free environment.

Is this the perfect job seeker site? Well, not quite, in my opinion, anyway. I didn't really like that I had to put in what type of job I was looking for right off the bat, but other than that, I found the experience to be even more streamlined and simple than Indeed which has up until now been my job search site of choice. I have one interview and counting from localjobsforall.com so this site definitely works. Give it a try yourself by clicking here, and good luck on your job search!
