WoW Death Knight Leveling Guide - Power Level A Death Knight

If you have a death knight and you want to know what the best WoW Death Knight Leveling tips and information is, here are a few points that you should take a look at.

The Most Important Question: Your Spec

There are a lot of ways that you can go with a death knight leveling specialization. There is Blood, Unholy, and Frost. A lot of people choose each one so it basically comes down to what you prefer the most. However, maybe I can help you to choose based on what you want.

As frost you really are becoming a tank, you minimize the damage done to you and increase your damage drastically. However, you might not be able to kill things as fast so that may cancel itself out. I definitely wouldn't go with Frost.

There is unholy and blood left. Both of these have a lot of great damage dealing things that speed up your death knight leveling. Unholy is fantastic for AoE killing, but I think that blood may be better. Why? Because Blood will keep you getting healed all the time, which will make you barely ever have to stop while you're leveling.

The self-healing effects of blood is extremely important for your uptime. You'll barely have to stop killing and can continue leveling almost all the time to go to the next level.

You Start Out At Level 55, So Getting to 60 Is Important

Death Knight leveling starts you at level 55, where you can do Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands, and can hopefully get to 60 pretty quickly. At that point you can go to Hellfire and begin questing in Outlands. Once you're in Outlands it doesn't really matter where you quest once it's one of the early places (Hellfire, Zangarmarsh, maybe Terokkar.)

Once you reach Northrend you should probably start with Howling Fjord, and continue to Borean Tundra. However, you CAN skip one of the above and go straight to Grizzly Hills or Dragonblight after.

If You Can, Stick With Where Your Allies Are

If you can find out where more of your allies are questing then you'll have an easier time death knight leveling in case you run into trouble. Cruising with your friends and allies is much better than being surrounded by enemies. So I'd definitely check in on that and try to make a decision on where you should be questing.
