Many Occasions in a life of an employee while working in a company that an employee

may recieve recognition for job well done. May it be a certificate, a plaque or even

a trophy. The Human Resources Department knows all of these occasions I pressume.

All of these things happen due to the creativity of the HRD. HRD will submit proposal

to the Top Management on what type of recognition awards will they give for a certain

Occasion. On the other hand, The Top Management will approved if it's with in the budget.

The budgets are usually prepared early quarter of every year for approval to the Top

Management.

Here comes an occasion let says year end recognition award that an employee who pass a

certain criteria will recieved the certificate or plaque of recognition. During that

event all of those who were recognized and called by the Management on stage to recieved

the certificate or plaque of reconition are so happy.

In most of the Mutinational Companies, They are doing these events yearly to keep the

employees motivation on a high level specially those who are in the sales department.

The people that brings in the big volume of money for the Company. Sales Department more

often than not gets the superior rewards compared to a normal employee. These situation

creates jealousy with in the organization which is the common reaction on human behavior.

What if the Top Management will give a reward that would be something that they will

value for life. An Employee who rendered 25 years of service to the Company, For his

or her retirement what can you think of a Valuable things that an employee will value

for the rest of his life. Something that even an ordinary rank and file will look forward

on his retirement day. If the reward is part of the culture of the Company that each an

every employee will look forward for his retirement.

This can be a Great Motivation of all employees at a highest level. Much more when they

see happy and fulfilled retired employees in the Organization. If you are on the

Mangagement side specially the HRD, Think of valuable things that will last forever...
