Insanity Workout Program Schedule
This past year (2009) Beachbody released Shaun T's Insanity workout program. The workout program includes 10 cardio and body weight resistance DVD workouts arranged over a total 63-day workout schedule.
Unlike P90X, which is equivalent in intensity, Shaun T Insanity focuses directly on body weight training involving nothing but gravity and the will to do the daily routines.
Shaun T Insanity is built around high intensity intervals with short water breaks, usually around 30 seconds, with longer durations of intense cardio activities. It must be known that the Shaun T Insanity workout program is very high impact. Good shoes are a must and perfect form is absolutely required.
Nutritionally speaking there is no need to "diet" when following the Insanity workout's. Along with the 10 DVD's comes a nutritional guide laying out what can and should be eaten each day, 5-times a day. With some workouts allowing an individual to burn well over 800-100 calories there is no reason to skimp on food. Insanity Workout Program Schedule
Eating balanced portions 3-5 times a day is absolutely a must to get through each high intensity workout.
The best way to look at the program is in 2 phases over 63 days. The first month are the "regular" workouts ranging from 30-40 minutes. The second month and remaining half adds upwards to 20 minutes (Roughly 45 min to an hour each workout) in a whole new group of workouts rightly named "MAX".
