University of West Alabama is a Single Campus University

A public university that is located in Livingston in the state of Alabama in United States, University of West Alabama was founded in 1835. Serving students in several academic divisions, the university has assumed a place of significance in higher education in Alabama.

Campus and Enrollment Features

With a campus spanning over 600 acres of land, the university serves students offering regular and associate degrees in bachelor, master's degrees as well as specialist educational degrees. Athletic teams of the university are known as the UWA tigers and it is member of Gulf South Conference East Division and competes in NCAA Division II. It participates in all sports except two of the events. Men's and women's rodeo teams compete in Ozark Region of National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
