Irritated of the dirty divisive politics happening in the commercial capital of India, Rahul Gandhi has openly criticized the two political parties (the both Senas)for unnecessary throwing their weight around in pushing North Indians out of business capital of India Mumbai.
While addressing a press conference today in Patna, he emphasized on the fact that India is for Indians and every part of India belongs to every Indian irrespective of region or religion. He further added, he will no longer remain mere spectator and would raise voice if anywhere people are attacked just because they don't belong to that particular region. According to Congress General secretary Rahul Gandhi , people from Bihar and UP have complete freedom to visit, live and work anywhere in the country.
Yesterday, he fired a salvo on Shiv Sena chief Udhav Thackrey, he questioned Shiv Sena where they were during 26/11 Mumbai attacks? NSG commandos who killed terrorists and rescued Mumbai from their dreadful intention also had men from Bihar and UP. The idea of one nation holds supreme importance.
The comments have irked head honchos of both Shiv Sena and MNS, in its home run newspaper Saamna, Udhav had criticized Rahul Gandhi for his comments and wrote he is insulting martyrs of 26/11.
Rahul Gandhi not only clarified his stand saying that it hardly matters you belong to what state, ultimately it's a one country and that was proved when Mumbai was attacked on 26/11.The commandos from Northern states did not think about which state they belonged to.
Now the main question comes up - Where are these two political parties Shiv Sena and MNS heading? How long they will distract mind of Mumbai people from core issues, such as unemployment, slums, pollution and crime? Its time for people of Mumbai to comprehend malevolence way of thinking of these and other parties and counter their divisive politics.
Although Udhav and Raj are against the notion of Bihar & UP as of now but they should actually remember the fate of top UP leaders Kalyan Singh and Mulayam Singh. In their good times they too emotionally blackmailed people, however they are now defeated lions with clipped power.
