Unfortunately, some people associate the water resistant laser pointers with the expensive ones but that is not true at all! There are many cheap laser pointers which are waterproof also. However, when the laser plays such a serious role in an adventurer's safety measures it is always recommended that a better, a more reliable and a bit more expensive laser pointer be purchased and used. After all, so people's life and safety is something which must not be compromised on.
