Connected belkin g to my reliance broadnet!!

was facing a problem with connecting into the net after setting up a wifi. i have a reliance broad net connection which provided me billion adsl modem n i purchased a BELKIN G wifi router. it juat wouldn't work through normal installation!!! finally i called the BELKIN call center and they walked me through.

So, if any of you are still struggling; let me be of help:

1) type 192.168.2.1 on your IE add bar. You'll be directed to the Belkin page.

2) on the left hand side you'll see restore factory settings. Click it! a password prompt is seen. if u haven't set ny leave it blank and click submit! Your router should automatically reboot in abt 25sec.

3) click Connection type under the Internet WAN tab on the left again click submit if you don't have a password. Follow through and click on DYNAMIC and the NEXT. Name Ur ISP provider and submit changes for WAN MAC Address. save. the router probably reboots again.

4) Still under the Internet WAN tab is MAC address:-click on it; further click the CLONE button.
