kato's new netbook, the Datacask is much more powerful than what was offered in the past, and one of the most notableimprovementsis the change ofprocessorfrom a lowly AMD Geode LX 500MHz processor to Intel's Atom 1.6GHz processor.The first Fukato Datacask netbook wasannouncedearlier this year, and thecompanypromised a mini-notebook with an 8 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display and use a 500MHz AMD Geode LX CPU. Now the company hasupgradedthe specs to include a 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU.

In other words, the upcoming Fukato Datacask Jupiter 1014A will ship this month with what we can now safely say areindustrystandard component. Other specifications include :-

* 10.2" LCD display at 1,024 x 600 resolution

* 160GB hard drive

* Choice between Linux andWindows

* The remaining specifications are expected to be within the industry standard. The Linuxboxwill cost around 369 Euros, while the Windows-powered model will require you to fork out another 30 Euros
