this photo above has popped up on the XDA-Developer boards (originally the Mobile01.com Asus forum) of an unknown Asus device. TheWindowsMobileProfessional device appears to have a WQVGA (or WVGA!) screen just like the Omnia. It also has a front facingcamera, suggestingstrongly that its a 3G device. Further specs, discernible from thepictureis the presence of WIFI and bluetooth, and the use of a trackball as the D-pad. Expansion is via microSD, and sync via mini-USB. The device is clearly at least a Windowsmobile6 device, as can be seen by the glossy softkeys.
Here is another picture of the back, showing a 5 megapixel camera sans flash.
If there is any more information please drop a comment at the end of the post.
The smartphone called the Asus Glaxy7 features possibly the following specs:
GSM Connectivity : GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA/HAUPA
GSM Frequency : 850/900/1800/1900
WCDMA Frequency: 900/1900/2100 (Sorry US readers )
This news is certainly ground breaking and means we now have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to high-end Windows Mobile devices this holiday season.
So what if it has 5 megapixel camera, I have seen many 8 mp mobilephoneout there, and when compared it doesnt make any sense?
