A comparative study of teacher orientation of student teacher of AIKC college of education on the basis of their presage variables

Objectives of the study

Following are the specify Objectives of the study :

1) To Ascertain the relationship of the Percentage at Graduation with the following:

a) Student orientation

b) Content orientation

c) Teacher orientation

1) To compare the English and Urdu Medium students and Arts and Science faculty students on the basis of the following.

a) Student orientation

b) Content orientation

c) Teacher orientation

Methodology of the study

In this study the researcher has used Descriptive method of study. The study describes the effect of Teacher orientation of student-Teacher on the basis of different presage variables. The descriptive method of comparative type to compare the faculty at graduation with Students orientation, content orientation and teacher orientation and as well as medium of instruction with Students orientation, content orientation and teacher orientation is used. The researcher also find out the relationship in percentage at graduation Student orientation, content orientation and total teacher orientation.

Sample of the Study

Non probability sampling technique is selected. The researcher has used purposive random sampling. AIKC College of education is selected for action research study. Out of 100 students 57 students have given response

Tools of Research

For the present study the researcher used ready made Questionnaire of spire 1974 of the preceding tools, the researcher prepared only the personal datasheet.

Analysis of Data

The researcher used Descriptive Statistical analysis for the present study. Mean, Median, Mode, Standard deviation sleekness , Kurtosis applied, in present study. For Inferential analysis relationship in percentage at graduation, Student orientation, content orientation and total teacher orientation. r' test is applied. To find out the difference in the medium of instruction and Student orientation, content orientation and total teacher orientation as well as to find out the difference in faculty at graduation Student orientation, content orientation and total Teacher orientation t' test is applied.

Conclusions of the Study

1) There is no significant relationship of percentage at graduation and student

orientation.

2) There is no significant relationship of percentage at graduation and Content

orientation.

3) There is no significant negative relationship of percentage at graduation

and Teacher orientation.

4) There is no significant difference in medium of instruction and student

orientation.

5) There is no significant difference in medium of instruction and Content

orientation.

6) There is no significant difference in medium of instruction and Teacher

orientation.

7) There is no significant difference in faculty at graduation and Student

orientation.

8) There is no significant difference in faculty at graduation and Content

orientation.

9) There is no significant difference in faculty at graduation and Teacher

orientation.
