Faith is not about what you know faith is about believing that even the things you don't know will work themselves out for the best. One of the most difficult times to hold on to faith is during the times we are coping with loss, especially unexpected loss leaves the fear of uncertainty behind. However as we grow in Christian maturity we learn to hold steadfast to our faith and trust in God, no matter what obstacles we face.
A common mistake people make when going through the grieving process is holding everything in and trying not to allow the emotions and pain left behind after experiencing loss to fully run its course. Although it may seem unlikely these are the times we harvest the most potential to grow.

Jimmy Needham sings a song called Hurricane, and it says "I need you like a hurricane, thunder crashing, wind, and rain to tear these walls down, I'm only yours now!" The way I interpret this song is "Lord if you have to break me down just to get me where you want me to be, that's okay with me".
So the next time you are going through something, maybe it is God doing some routine maintenance on your mind, your body, and your spirit. Every once in a while our kitchen drains get clogged up, or our fuel filters go out on our vehicles, because of all of the trash that has had to pass through them. Well living in the world we live in, there are some things we have to encounter and endure as believers and every once in a while God has to take us apart and do some routine maintenance, but in due time we'll be up and running again.

God is a faithful God unfailing, may not come when you want Himbut He is ALWAYS on time!
