Bachelor's pads are usually unkempt and messy. Here I tell you how to get a cleaner look.
We cannot generalize by saying all bachelor's homes resemble a pig sty, but there are few, who are actually meticulous about the personal and house hygiene. But most often when we talk about a bachelor's pad all we can think of is the mess!
The homes they live in are not only disorganized and messy but they usually reveal some terrible choices when it comes to furniture. Also, things are lying all over the place and no one cares about it. The house is so lovely -- this is a statement you will seldom hear in the context of a bachelor's pad. But, the good news is that converting a bachelor's pad from being unmanageable mess to a decent and livable place isn't that difficult at all, it just takes a little bit of planning.
The things that a bachelor should do in order to have neat little pad are:
1) A bachelor needs to organize the furniture, which occupies the pride of place in the room. The furniture used should compliment the temperament of the person living in that house. It should be mouldable so that it consumes less space and can get accommodated anywhere in the house.
2) The room should be painted in bright colors to heighten its attractiveness. Wallpaper skins can be used as well.
3) The bachelor should not keep the plates unwashed after he eats, or throw unwashed T-shirts here and there. A very simple solution for this is to keep a laundry bag in the bathroom, and putting the dirty clothes inside it, after they have discarded them.
4) A bachelor should not keep his clothes on the bed or hang it somewhere in the corner. A simple thing that can be done is to put a cloth closet in one corner of the room. They can keep their clothes inside and zip it so that the room looks neat and big.
Being a bachelor means a freedom-filled life. What it does not mean is that one has to be untidy and stay at a place both friends and family want to stay away from. With a little bit of effort, and a little less laziness, one can have a nice bachelor's pad. To have one, however, you must start hating dirty T-shirts and used plates to begin with!
