I bought this Streamlight to replace my old, trusty Stylus. My old penlight still works but it takes AAAA batteries which are tough to find. I couldn't be more happy with my new Stylus Pro. It's well made out of machined aluminum in a nifty blue color. The clip is very sturdy and clips nice and tight with no twisting or turning.
If you want a decent, long lasting penlight then the Stylus Pro is more than adequate.
I just received this little light 2 days ago and feel attached to it already. It has a beautiful finish and is just the right size. I work on a ranch and this light is perfect for checking up on the premises at night and looking ATV keys in the dark. Along with my Spyderco Endura and cell phone the Streamlight Stylus Pro is unnoticeable when it's clipped into my jeans. If you want a small, well built, exceptionally bright flashlight that won't break the bank or weigh you down, get this one!
Simply perfect. Flawless. I am a healthcare provider and use it for examining patients during days and nights shifts. Excellent for Eyes, mouth or anyother bodypart examination.Ideal size, bright light, top quality material and sturdy. It looks like that you have a pen in your pocket. The best thing about LED lights is that it provides you true color of the object being being examined.
I have 2 Streamlight models, the Stylus and Stylus Pro models. One thing I can tell you are they are the best built penlights I've ever used. Puts out plenty of light. I like this Stylus Pro because it is around the same size as a regular pen, takes 2-"AAA" batties and is built to last. Very pleased with the Streamlight models. I would recommend them.
The Maglite that I've had just wasn't cutting it anymore.
I wanted something that took AAA batteries and was light enough to tuck into my pocket at work and carry around and not have it irritate me.
Pen lights were not powerful enough. Flashlights that took AA batteries were too heavy.
This works perfectly.
One caveat, if you use this throughout the day it is a good idea to have a stash of fresh batteries on hand. Run time is approximately 2 weeks with regular usage.
More than a few of my "old school" coworkers were envious. One commented, "What the heck is that? A nuclear-powered bulb?". They literally 'saw the light'.
