Get a brown paper bag and cut it open. Make sure that you are not using a bag that has any ink on it. You need a plan paper bag.

Turn an iron on medium heat and place it on the bag. Iron over the wax on the paper bag for approximately 30 seconds and then remove the iron.
Pick the bag up and find the wax that was removed by this process.
Move the bag to a new location and then repeat the process so that you can get the rest of the wax out of the carpet.
Make you try to remove the wax with this process as quickly as possible. The long the wax remains in you carpet the more difficult it will be to remove.
