Advice of Marriage Breakups
Advice of Marriage Breakups

I've been married for 12 years now. Most of the people I've known have already separated. Some of my married friends have already gotten back their single status.

Is it easy? Hell no. I've been through a pin hole in my marriage. I've experienced every type of pain that there is to be experienced in a married life. I've suffered from humiliation, depression, being rejected by my wife, etc. etc. etc.

But why are we still together? Is it true love? Well for one thing I've noticed that true love flies out the window in times of troubles and financial problems.

Is my wife loyal to me? Well no. I've learned throughout the years of some of her affairs, in fact not just one but several.

What keeps us together? To be honest, it's me. Call me clingy, needy, crawling or anything you want. It's alright because you know what? I've kept my family together. I've kept the lives of our daughters secured in a family with a mom and dad.

It takes the life out of me but I enjoy the benefits of a family. Sure I can just walk away. In fact I'm not even sure if these kids are mine, but then I love the kids and I enjoy each and everyday of my life with them.

You see the secret to be together in a family is sacrifice. You'll have to sacrifice your life. Even if it takes the best out of you like it did me.

That is what it takes to keep a family. It is not for the weak hearted specially these days that it's easier to break up than stay together.

Now, I can't say that you should do the same. I'm just telling you that it takes that much sacrifice to keep a family. If you are not ready for that sacrifice then a family is not for you.
