But for all this implies fragility. The new Touch is sturdy and attractive, very attractive.
Interface
The new mini osx is undoubtedly one of the strengths. When trying to use three fingers of the terminal response is a bit more unpredictable. And while the second day I tried it was a tad slow to load, was first fable, which I imagine it will depend of course on the quality of signal.
As expected, the flash pages are not loaded but the ability to browse virtually any page using the zoom mode (again using two fingers to it) is very powerful.
All you have to do is a little pixelated zoom and expansion (as in any photo software) is rendered again showing the site with perfect quality.
iTunes WiFi
ITunes being much of Apple's business is to understand that is one of the sections more care.
Access and buy content is made simple. The interface is very similar to the navigation of our songs with which the sensation is of unlimited browsing in a library in which "only" must be given to pay. Easier impossible.
Virtual keyboard
Has long used a touchscreen smartphone with which I know how hard it is trying to write it so fast. The iPod Touch features the same keyboard that the iPhone thus paid particular care to tinker with the aim of assessing the feelings of use.
My first impression was a tad frustrating because although it works better than any smartphone on the market, it is almost inevitable mistakes, particularly in the beginning when we still do not know the ideal position with which our pressure on the virtual keys (the tip of the yolk in a perpendicular as possible to the terminal).
With a little time and patience to go slowly, I found I was more at ease and precision errors were reduced, thus imagine that with a little learning earn points system.
Now, my opinion is that the user of the iPod Touch is hardly so comfortable and go as fast as using a real interface as in the case of a popular and lucrative segment such as the BlackBerry.
Why not buy an iPod Touch?
16GB (the most expensive model) is not enough for many of our clubs. Even less for iPod users accustomed to larger sizes.
IPhone is a gelding. While this gives it more lean and agile by not incorporating telephony features, does not have much logic that does not have Bluetooth (apart from the obvious economic logic to avoid mating with a phone).
Because I think we're all thinking that in a few months there will be a 32GB model at the price of 16GB. I personally 32GB model if I would do.
Why buy an iPod Touch?
It's the best player on the market.
Be one of the most hacked gadgets any time soon. Both applications, as in all matters relating to take advantage of the Internet (VoIP).
The price per GB is equal to or better than an iPod nano, if the size is not a crucial factor in the choice should always be a Touch.
Because once you try it, any other player you think of the past. Feel the need to drag the covers of a nano coverflow can not stand the noise and shaking of the hard drive in a Classic.
