Dear Kavoo,
I'm writing today to thank you for the incredible service you provided in October of last year.
As a Boston-based human rights lawyer, I do a lot of traveling for business. With a wife and three kids, family time can be really difficult. My wife and I were looking into air taxis on the east coast to get me to a family reunion in lower Mass last year, but hadn't committed to anything when the "incident" happened.
My youngest son, Derek, is 5 years old. I was away on business in DC when my wife called to tell me his appendix ruptured. She was frantic our son had to have emergency surgery and kept asking "Where's daddy?" throughout the ordeal.
Nothing like this ever happened to us before, so I wanted to get home as soon as I could. The rupture caused major problems for my son, and apparently the procedure was fairly risky.
My wife and I knew we were looking at a six-plus hour drive home due to traffic that weekend. The train was out of the question, and I couldn't find a commercial flight that would get me there in time. After a panicked hour of my wife, myself and my assistant on the phone trying to get me home, my wife sent me a text. All it said was, "Kavoo." Literally within the same hour, I was at a small airport in Maryland, sitting on the runway and preparing to take off. I was home before my son was wheeled into the recovery room.
I'm happy to say that all ended well Derek made a speedy recovery, and fortunately some work transitions allow me to spend more time at home. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for being so understanding of my situation, and making things so easy. I've never experienced such fantastic, accommodating customer service in all my life.
