Mario has been widely available on all the consoles, and extensively produced as flash games available for free on the many arcade gaming sites on the net today. We love the variety of all these flash games being produced in memory of Mario, and so weve created this top 5 list of the best 5 Mario Games over the last 6 months.
Starting with the best, Our No.1 most played Mario game...
Mario Super
Mario Super is as original to the real NES games as you can get, and this is what the makers tried to grasp and did indeed grasp all the elements of vanilla Mario into this great flash game.
The game idea is a little bit old as the old Mario Bros from NES or Pegasus console. Nothing more to say about the idea. You play as the famous red plumber named Mario...(ofcourse!) He is on his journey now and must rescue the princess Peach to save her life. Defeat evil Bowser and his minions in colorful adventure filled with evil minions and bonuses in free Super Mario Bros Game by Softendo.com. The game is tailored to suit all fans, from beginners to enthusiasts.
With proper Mario graphics, great game play and a Mario storyline we never seem to get bored with!
Mario Super is our No.1!
Mario Helicopter
Mario Helicopter is rated 2nd. This is a very new game to the flash series, but with the new modern take it brings it has made itself very popular and shoot straight to the top positions.
In Mario Helicopter you need to collect as many coins as you can but be careful with the Helicopter. Fly through 7 levels in this exciting adventure game but avoid the various obstacles and platforms that you come across in the various levels. Who would have thought that he even knew how to fly a helicopter? Well thats good ol' Mario for you. Use the helicopter to fly across the game, but be careful as the helicopter is very hard to master the controls so you will need to sue the up most care to ensure you don't have to use your parachute!
Super Mario Bomber
This bomber style game is again a new take on the series, this time merging with Bomberman. Hmm, who would trust Mr M with a huge pile of bombs you might think, well with you guiding him it should be as easy as 1-2-3-Boom! You get set against various friends and enemies in each level, and the aim of the game is too blow you way through the map, and blowing up your opponent before they blow you up. There are many upgrades and power ups to collect to help increase your speed, bombs and fire power. Get blowing stuff up!
Super Mario Ice Tower
Ice Tower comes in 4th place, with its action time based method of play. In this vertical scrolling you game, you need to jump up the platforms of each tower one by one, collect the coins along the way and beat the time so you don't get left behind.
Again our brave moustached hero named Mario must free the princess from evil hands of bowser. This time Bowser has built the giant ice tower and put Mario's true love on the last floor. Play as Super Mario, Luigi, Koopa Troopa or small Goomba. Use jumping abilities and bounce from the walls to get to the last floor of evil icy tower. Make combos to generate more points from larger jumps and longer lasting combos.
Mario & Yoshi Adventure
In our final place, we have Yoshi Adventure, it's another pretty new game to the series, but with a lot of fun added to it and a new style of controls. Mario and Yoshi are on an adventure to find the princess who has been lost in the dinosaur world. You can control Mario on his own, or ride on Yoshi's back like a mount for faster speed movement, bigger jumps and puzzles that you and Yoshi will need to overcome. Get saddled up, and adventure off to find peaches.
Were sure there will be plenty more to come from Mario still. But for now, Happy 25 years Mr M.!
