Here is what i've learned through the Secret Society System, the most recent network marketing business opportunity

It is remarkable how my way of thinking of what is a good business changed, after I used the Secret Society System. I will not give the name of my first business but knowing what I know now, I do not regard that business as a good opportunity. Over the time, I have created the following outline of criteria and I thought I should share it with you.

1. Good quality product or service.

2. Innovational products would be preferred. So many MLM companies market resembling products and seeing that one of the best target markets for common people to join your team is other current MLMers, every new idea is important.

3. Moderate cost for every item! Let's face it, the reason why so many companies have a high turnover is that a lot of MLM companies charge too much for their vitamins, supplements, juices, or cosmetics. A person can go on the net or to the local grocery store and buy the same product for half the cost. The price is so high that unless someone is making money with their business they give up consuming the overpriced product.

4. International scope and plan. The business should be in your home country so you can do offline promotions as well as online, but international business will allow you to prosper, especially because of the internet. These days you can sponsor people all over the globe.

5. No too old. No more than two years old but the newer the better. The fact is the majority of big earners in a company are those who start early. Yes, you can still become rich even if you join Amway today but it is harder.

6. This one may surprise some people but a moderate to high initial buy-in of at least $200 is preferred. Let's face it, a pricy buy-in eliminates "tire kickers" and motivates people (NOTE: a preferred customer system is also good as an offer to those who do not want to build a business).

7. The company should pay out at least 50% of revenue in commissions. We need to be reward well for our efforts and 50% has become an industry standard.

8. A monthly cost of around $100 or less. This is important considering that many people in your team will only be consumers not networkers.

9. Freedom on distributors participating in other MLMs. I agree to get good results focus is important but the company does not have the authority to tell us we cannot do other businesses as long as those businesses are not competing with each other.

I hope this article helps other chose a good company going forward! You can learn more about leveraging your MLM business opportunity by using the tools offered by the Secret Society System.
