Advice for a Broken Heart
Advice for a Broken Heart

It's not easy to mend a broken heart. If you've recently lost your partner, I'm sure you'll be sitting there as if your heart was ripped out of your chest.

Breaking up is a hard and painful experience. However, you can take comfort in the thought that right now, thousands of people like you are breaking up. You're not alone.

There's no easy way to properly mend a broken heart. Like any wound, the heart will take time to heal.

Sure there are ways to get your mind off the experience. Most people turn to alcohol to get over it for a while, but after the effect of alcohol has worn out, the pain will still remain.

What I recommend is to do something more positive.

If you can, why not try to:

* Make sure you are surrounded most of the time by close friends and family.

Close friends and family, persons who really care about you can be your support group during the times of pain.

* Watch funny movies.

Humor and laughter will get your mind of the experience. You'll find that laughter is indeed the best medicine.

* Get involved in something or look for a hobby.

Try to do something worthwhile, there's nothing worse than just sitting at home, alone and thinking about the experience. Get busy.

Those are the best ways to mend your broken heart, however, I still have one suggestion. If you really love the person, why not get back with them. 90% of relationships can be easily reversed, but only if you really want to. So think about it.

If you've decided to get your ex back then listen carefully.

Plan it as soon as possible, your ex is not going to be around forever...They will eventually find somebody else and they are going to hook up with them...They are going to fall in love, they are going to have sex...so on and so forth...
