Unlike weight training you do not continue to add weight to kettlebells, actually that is impossible There are so many unique moments you can do with kettlebells that you never need to work the same muscle groups and can consistently build strength and muscle.

An exercise set for use with kettlebells

Three rounds of:

Getup Situp, 5 reps each hand, 30 seconds rest

30 seconds chest floor press

Lawnmower Rows, 5 reps each hand, 30 seconds rest

Rolling Pistol Squats, 5 reps each hand, 30 seconds rest

Partner Assisted Eccentric Swings, 5 reps each hand, 30 seconds rest

Now, some of these movements are brutally hard. The goal in the beginning is to get your heart rate up and keep it there while working the muscles to exhaustion using these movements Here are some examples of kettlebell movements you may not have knowen about:

Getup Situp

A getup situp or situp getup is very similar to a Turkish getup but you do not fully extend to a standing position. Try lying on you back with a kettlebell in each hand then slowly do a sit-up with your arms extended and locked.

Spread your legs just over shoulder length apart to begin. Use your right hand to grab a kettlebell. Strech your arm to the left side, with the opposite hand on your left thigh

Starting the movement from your left foot, perform a rowing motion. This looks you're starting a lawnmower engine.

If you have trouble attempt these with two feet. Hold the Kettlebell in front of your body with two hands, each on the side of the handle. Do the squat. In the bottom position roll and lean back to finish the squat.

Then roll forwards back into squat position and stand up. (Make sure the Kettlebell doesn't hit you in the head).
