Home Business Owners: How to Stop Being an Idiot' Marketer like Every Other Internet Network Marketer and Entrepreneur

In order to be able to REALLY teach someone how to do something properly, you have to have had experience doing what you are teaching. You should study the best practices on that topic, and know EXACTLY what works and what doesn't at that moment in order to really break it down for your student.

I want you to keep that in mind as you read this article, because what I will be saying here will REALLY help you. I will speak only from my experiences, because I hope that your business (whether it be multi-level marketing, sales, network marketing, internet marketing, or home business) will benefit and be taken to the next level by understanding what I'm teaching in this article.

OK - you are currently an entrepreneur of some kind and are actively marketing your business, because you know this is how you are going to generate sales, prospects, and leads.

What little time you have you are spending on using social media, posting on forums, putting videos on YouTube, creating pay-per-click campaigns, and writing articles.

You REALLY want to make it big in your business, don't you???!!!

Here are my 'Success Guidelines' to follow whenever you are creating any kind of marketing/advertising for your business.

These guidelines are what propelled me into success - to be one of the top leaders and earners, and one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry today.

I'm not trying to impress you, but I am trying to show you that these guidelines really do work. These principles carry over to any business and industry there is out there.

Magnetic Marketing:

The best way to market is to draw your customers and prospects to you, not go out and hunt them down! This can be very easy to do.

Keep this statement in mind: "Nobody who bought a drill ever really wanted a drill. They wanted a hole. Therefore, if you want to sell drills, you should deliver information about making holes, not about drills!"

When a prospect find you, they are so much more likely to buy from you because they perceive you in a very different way. You are looked upon as an expert and NOT as a slick and sneaky sales person.

For example, has your doctor EVER called you, just out of nowhere, and tried to sell you on a new drug or vitamin?

Absolutely not!

He doesn't seek you out. Instead, you go to him or her. Then when you see them, how often do you question his diagnosis and recommendations?

What if they advised you to lose weight, or else your life was at risk? Or told you that you have to have major surgery? Or that you'll need to see a physical therapist or nutritionist?

You get my drift.

Most likely you will not only follow your doctor's advice, but you will pay a good amount of money for it as well. The bottom line is that, no matter how it puts you out, you will take your doctor's advice.

Now, ask yourself this question:

How many of your customers seek your advise they way they do their doctor's? Why is that? Your prospects do not have any closer of a relationship with you than they do with their doctor, do they?

Doctors are educated in their field. You are educated in your field of expertise. You have studied your industry, your products, your marketing. Your doctor has, too. Why won't your prospects listen to you?

I like to call it 'Positioning vs. Prospecting'.

Positioning makes all the difference. You might seek out a doctor because they are seen as the expert in their particular practice. People like to follow leaders, experts: people with KNOWLEDGE. The bottom line is that you NEED to take a page out the way doctors market and position themselves.

You see, most people in the Home Business Industry and Internet Marketing space just imitate their competitors, and everyone just gets more and more stupid every year because no one is willing to take a stand and make things better and more productive.

This is really sad! That's why I named this article what I did. And I am on a mission to change this sad fact. You must become different and approach your business from a unique viewpoint - one that stands out from the crowd.
