The game starts from, where Patapon 2 was left i.e. the brave Patapon tribe cross the recently constructed bridge at the end of Patapon 2 and they found a mystifying box which lies in between their path. So, they all trying and put up their efforts to open that box and finally they successfully open up the box. But by breaking this box they release the seven evil spirits, which turned all of the Patapon tribes into hardest stone, but all hope is not lost yet, one brave Patapon survive from this misfortune that is the new Superhero of this game Hatapon. This hero escaped from the tragedy and found silver Hoshipon from the bottom of the box and this Hoshipon gives him a new power to defeat the evil spirits. This is where all rejoin the Patapon saga, on dark battle field which is enclosed by sea of stone soldiers. So, you can be the one who will be Superhero of this game and alone fight against the evil spirits to get back the troops. So, in this game the Superhero will be the head for all of the tribe of Patapon's.
Patapon 3 is a new series of Patapon game give more stress on 2D surroundings with realistic backgrounds. Players can play this game in multiplayer Quest or they can go with head-to head in a couple of competitions. Sony firstly announces that this game released in spring season and now it's a fourth week of spring season and this game is released in US on April, 12 2011 and in Japan it will be released on April, 28 2011.
