The Interlocking Grip - The index finger of your left hand and your pinky on your right should come together and interlock with one another. This is the most common grip for people with short or thick hands. It is one of the best grips that allow you to gain the maximum power.

The Overlapping Grip -In this grip your pinky finger of your right hand should rest on top of your index finger from your left. This grip is most common with male golfers. It requires strong wrists as well as forearms.

If you are left handed then substitute the left index finger with the right and the right pinky with the left. These are the most common grips used in golf. Try out a few to find the one that is best for you.
