Setting goals will help in dealing with stress. When you write you goals down you set a time frame. You have something concrete to work on. Each day when you get up you have a focus. Your goals must be realistic. When you set your goal, remember to set sub goals. Sub goals are like steps. It helps you to work toward your main goal.

Setting Priorities

This is another stress management technique that, when done correctly, will be a help, not a hindrance, to stress management. Draw up a simple timetable using a calendar to plan activities, study requirements, deadlines for assignments, listing of exam dates and other commitments. Setting a priority against each is important in helping you achieve goals rather than being overwhelmed by what you have to do.
