The only people that make money like that are; 1-scammers, that will do everything for you to spend money in worthless things and in worst cases they don't even provide you with anything of value, 2- people that are already established in the process of affiliate marketing and make a consistent living out of it.
The second group, hardly share any information. When I see well know "gurus" selling a product that makes them thousands of dollars, I always wonder, if they do so much money with that little endeavour of them in the internet, why they are selling the "blueprint" to the masses?
In most cases, it's a blueprint that it's already dropping quality and to save them they try to squeeze even more money out of it by claiming instant results, until enough people spend allot of money and they can turn to other projects that won't be sold right away. Also, in most cases those "blueprints" are been already used by many people that the results are not like they advertise, since many people use the same tactics.
Using the same tactics like many other people, isn't a really bad thing, but when there is allot of competition in the same niche, the results tend to be much lower.
The way to achieve some success is by getting a proper education. To get that, we come back to same route full of land mines. The internet is full of some sort of education, and yes, with time, making allot of research we can find good info. But time is money and for many people is something that cant been wasted. The hard thing is to find one place where we know it's serious enough to invest and learn. One of the best things in this kind of business is, if you don't have the proper training and help, it's very hard to make something out of it alone.
There is nothing better then groups of people or communities that are focus in the same goals and share they experiences, ideas, tactics, resources with others. By combining all the efforts together we can learn by others mistakes and ours and learn from it.
Its not that hard to make money in affiliate business, what's hard is to start and learn everything about it, but when you have a good backup of people that is willing to share with you reliable information and strategies, its about half way to accomplish something.
We can be on our own and waste money and time doing our own research (and even for some research in marketing we need the proper training) or we can share ideas with people that are also starting and people that are already established in this kind of business.
The most common problems when learning new things, is to give up because it's too hard, or to get so full of information that our own brain don't know where to start. Having a good base to start and stick with it is very important. Our brains where made to gather allot of information, the problem is to discipline our own lines of thought. When we start learning new things, in particular in this kind of business, most of the times we end up having new ideas and new things to do. That's good of course, what's bad is because our mind is so full of new things we forget one major thing: taking action!
That's the most common mistake of every new person to internet marketing. Taking action!
It doesn't matter if the product or service that we are promoting, after proper research done is giving us 10 dollars per month or 1000 dollars per month. What matters is that it works! So, if it works is something that we should be proud of it and fine tune it to bring better results. Of course, we keep getting new ideas, maybe even more fun or better to doing them. The problem with it is that if we don't have discipline we end up only trying new things and never finished what we start.
Besides learning internet marketing and this entire affiliate thing, we need the proper discipline to do it. It's a fact that around 90% of the people that try this kind of business aren't successful because of the same reasons that I mention above.
In our first time we attempt to make 1 small business or our first try, we need to make our homework, study it, research it and take action. If we start wondering if that thing would be much better, or this thing is very weak, or this isn't going to work, we will never finish what we started.
In order to make money online we need a good education. There is not other way. Besides learning all there is to learn about this, we also need to educate our mind to be focused in one goal at the time.
There is allot of online and offline schools out there that teach us internet marketing strategies, from creating a web site, finding a niche, looking for products or service to sell and finally getting paid for our work with commissions or even selling our own products in an online shop.
I have been trying to get a piece of this business for the last 2 years. With my sorrow I could never got any proper education. I learn allot from reading articles like this one you reading now, searching new opportunities in the internet, but 90% of the times I just wasted money in products that didn't brought me anything new to my learning or just to waste money and time in well elaborated scams to get my money.
