Nail polish remover: nail polish remover is basically acetone, which works great for your bathroom glass. BUT this should only be used for spot cleaning. Before applying this great cleaning solution, do make sure that the area is well ventilated and can dry up the remover quickly. Only use a soft cloth for this or a cotton ball.
CLR: CLR is actually a blend of rust remover and calcium-lime. This product is readily available in home improvement, departmental and hardware stores. This can be diluted with 50 percentage of water and applied directly on the spots. Make sure to wear rubber gloves and do not inhale any of the cleaner.
Pencil eraser or razor blade: you could also use an old pencil eraser or even a sharp razor blade to take off stains from your glass. When you are using a pencil eraser, all you need to do is to rub on the spot as normal but remember not to press too hard. And if you are using a razor, hold the blade at a 30 angle without applying much pressure. Make sure the razor has no nicks in the sharp edge of the blade or it will scratch the glass. Remember you do not want to cut the glass. Both of these products can scratch, but they are excellent if used as described.
