How to Give Your Article "The Look"
How to Give Your Article "The Look"

Have you ever been car shopping and in just a glimpse or out of the corner of your eye you seen a car that you knew was the one. I have actually heard of people that have special ordered a car and paying for them in full just because of the look without ever getting into it or driving it.

And when you are selling your car, you do many things to it to help with the look which allows people to fall in love with it much quicker. You polish it, detail every last inch so when the potential buyers arrive the car is spotless and beautiful. They look at the car as they pull in your driveway and they want it before they even go out of their car and even before getting into the one you are selling. This is the same principle you want to approach your articles.

Believe me or not

You may not believe me but writing articles is not much different. You can create this love at first sight feeling also, if you give your article "The Look", which starts with its title. It does not matter what you are writing an article on, it could be the moon, peanut butter or even ant farms. When you create an eye catching title you are in for smooth sailing, with a catching title you have half the battle won, people will start reading your article.

Ponder this for a second

You spend hours on an article, you publish the article online to many different sites but there is never a promise or guarantee given. There is no reason to believe that readers will be automatically flocking to read your article. On the article submission sites there are thousands upon thousands of articles but what makes the reader want to pick yours? Does your article have "The Look" of something interesting, does the title intrigue the reader?

Think of the car scenario again that you are trying to sell, same things holds true with articles and titles. If the outside (meaning the title) is not appealing why would they get in (read the article); they wouldn't, they would just find another car (article). So what is one to do? Great question, but do I have an answer?

Tips to consider

I have been studying some pretty intense article marketing training and have put many of these tips and tricks into affect to help my business. The tips and tricks have been under tight wraps for a few good reasons but I am blowing the lid off the chest. These tips and tricks if used properly in your article marketing titles will stop readers in their tracks. A great title pulls at the physic and the reader has no other choice but to pacify the burning desire to get in.

No Candy Coating Title get straight to the point title no beating around the bush. Good example would be something like "Drinking 5 cups of Coffee a day raises your blood pressure 3 points in 30 days."

The Curiosity Title this type of title triggers the reader to be curious or intrigued. Good Example would be something like "My Wife was attacked within minutes" actual true story, for another day maybeOk I will write an article on it.

The No Doubt Title this type of title leaves no doubt in the readers mind on what he or she is getting ready to read or watch. A good example would be "My exclusive Video Research on Underwater Mining"

The How to Title this type of title lays the foundation that you are going to be showing or teaching something to the reader. A good example of this would be "How to bake banana bread in these 3 simple steps"

The Question in a Title this one is pretty self explanatory but here is an example "Have you had enough of the Corporate World?"

The Just Do It Title this is a title that has a powerful action step or verb in the title, a good example would be something like "Fire your boss today and never look back"

The Reason Why Title this is a title that has the word why in it, a good example would be something like "7 Reasons Why Article Marketing is an Awesome Business Building Block"

Controversy in the Title People love drama, suspense and thrillers so put it in your title. An example could be something like "Thinking of Spinning your Articles, not after this you won't" or maybe "Why WordPress is smoking Blogger online".

While I have used all of these at some point in my long article marketing career, I have come to love a couple of them and have a few favorites. I will not tell you them as I would not want to influence your writing style. We all have our own style and how we communicate with the world, allow yourself to be unique. When you are unique you will attract like minded people that want to learn more about how you are being successful in your article marketing. Just remember to give, give, give and keep giving help to others and you will be much happier.
