Arterial Pressure And Its Basic Function
Arterial Pressure And Its Basic Function

Part of our physiology is blood pressure and through natural progression this is ever changing.

It is fact that a person's blood pressure will never remain at the same levels through the day.

Our actions will affect blood pressure levels so it physically cant remain the same the most obvious factor would be energies we exert carrying out tasks for example a manual worker would exert more energies than a desk bound person.

So in essence every time we carry out a task or action it could have an effect on our blood pressure.

In its simplest forms even sitting, standing or lying down can affect levels.

If you were to go for a medical you doctor may want to take your blood pressure whilst your body is in different stages of exertion they would likely take an average of the readings to gauge your overall health.

For an individual it would be impractical to take different readings at different stages throughout the day.

This is where arterial pressure starts.

Arterial pressure is the average value placed on a person's blood pressure.

Arterial pressure can be recorded for many reasons and surprisingly not all are for medical reasons, the mean arterial pressure can be used in biological procedures that are not health related.

Arterial blood flows through the body, the blood flow progresses through the arteries and leaves nutrients in the capillaries that run across the surface of the organs, in essence providing fuel.

The term perfusion pressure has a similar meaning to arterial pressure for organs to operate in a normal manner the arterial pressure should be at around 60 mmhg.

If the value stays at this level the organs will function normally if the levels or values fall it is because there is not enough blood pumping to the organs which results in the organ becoming alchemic.

The prolonged effect could be damage to the organs tissue, it is advisable to get the arterial pressure checked and calculated frequently, from a medical point of view its good practice to check a person's arterial pressure when taking the blood pressure.

These are some regular tests that can be used to monitor the condition of the body's internal functions, and use the information to ensure the body runs more efficiently.

Simple things that can have a great effect on blood pressure are diet and exercise, regulate both to increase your well being.
