One of the most exoting objects present in the universe is a black hole,so its formation becomes important in order to understand the role that it plays,the laws by which it governs etc.A black hole is also special because it breaks all the laws of physics that we presently know,einsteins law also breakdown in the presence of superstrong gravity of black holes singularity,therefore understanding blackholes might lead to new laws,and change our view of the universe as we see it today.
A black hole is an ultimate fate of some stars,stars above certain mass(mass limit) can form a black hole.This is the idea that every black hole reader knows.But here we will see a black hole formation without the death of a star.Every rotating body in space drags the space time around itself so any body when enetrs in its gravitational influence follows that drag spacetime path.Now lets understand whatever i am gonna say through an analogy lets take an example of an expanding balloon suppose somehow i twist a portion of balloon from inside and now i allow the balloon to expand, a bulge or a curvature will be formed in the similar manner high gavitational influence satrs rotates the spacetime around them and as the universe is continously expanding,that space time drag twists the spacetime and as it expands more it gets more twisted and therefore there will be a creation of a bulge just like an expanding balloon(it may take thousand of years but the main point is not how many years it takes but to understand the that a singularity can also be formed without the death of certain stars ) and that bulge or spacetime curvature will become sharp and ultimately it can result in the formation of a singularity,thereby forming a black hole.Thus its not necessary that a star( above some mass limit) will die then only a black hole can be formed.
The basic idea is the formation of the bulge or spacetime curvarure which when becomes sharp enough,takes all the matter and collapses them to form a black hole.
