Come out visual enhancements like the new camera angles that are a lot of tweaks under the hood. Several new features have been added to the game's repertoire.Checks are still D-Pad to move and Circle fight, but there is now chokeslams and other moves from the ramp, the ability to perform tackles on the sides of downed opponents and Collar & Elbow, Side headlock, Rear Waist Lock, and wrist Lock strong tackles that each come with four features each.

Another nice addition is to move to a reversal on the button. No longer will you have to click a button to reverse strikes and the second to turn picks up, now the R button does it all. It may sound easy, but you only get one shot at tapping the reversal of a given move, and the window is pretty small. I've played a lot, and I only now feel I get in rhythm for when to properly use it. Being able to duck under HBK's super kick after he has gone through the whole rigmarole or wiggle out of Cena's shoulder before he can deliver the FU is a great feeling - especially when it looks this good and is accessible enough that you never feel completely out of a fight.

Honestly, all the gameplay stuff I just talked about is from my PS3 review with some minimal changes things, but the tweaks do not play so well on PSP as they played on PS3. I'm glad they are here because they make the game a bit better than the previous year, but the whole experience still feels stiff. See, over on the PS3, the new moves and such make the experience more fluid and dynamic, here, still move very robotic. Part of this interpretation must be because of the graphics that offers a lot of jagged edges, blurred imagery, and the ugly crowd members. For me, even with the enhanced television presentation these shortcomings sign SVR legs.

Unfortunately, there have been many tweaks to Create A Superstar either. The clothes are still painted on, and everything is working well-worn territory. Do not get me wrong, there is still a ton of shirts and hairstyles, but it's the same stuff you've seen in years.Another low point is the fact that the number of names for the ring announcer to call you has been reduced to 35 and they are all ordinary things like "The Rocker" and "The Show". As in previous years, it just ring announcer - there are no comments during your actual matches, just music.

There is an upside to create character in years. In SVR 2009 began with a dull, sub-50 overall ranking for your CAS and had to beef that up by playing in Career Mode, which was a history-less affair that just had you playing match after match on a ladder earn attribute points that you did not get to decide where they obtained. This year the Career Mode is back and mostly untouched, but you'll earn attribute points by the handful for any fight you take a CAS in whatever fashion. If you wish, you can even enter your CAS into fights as a computer-controlled character against a computer-controlled opponent and bank the points at the end of the game without ever playing. Fortunately, you get to use points to attribute what category you want when all is said and done.

Personally, I dig this year's spin on the leveling-up created Superstars. Now that I'm not forced into the boring Career Mode and can level-up whatever game I choose, I'm fine with using my own points. I know that kids who want to make armies of characters may be disappointed to have to go out and earn points and cooler abilities, but it's not nearly as restrictive as last year's game.

It is as if it is on TV!

Again, The Road to WrestleMania is back and once again they are extremely well done and entertaining stories. Each is 12 weeks or thereabouts of wwe games and scenes. For the brand new opportunity to take your CAS in history, you will find yourself starting the forefront offended by Santino, and make your way into the WWE. From there you will go on a tear for the Intercontinental title, take on Vince, and more that I do not want to destroy.

What makes these stories stand out from last year is the fact that there is a lot more interactivity. In Mickie James story, you start dating Brian Kendrick and must choose between him and a still more sinister Natalya. When JBL launches a Shawn Michaels Retirement Campaign of HBK's story, they'll come a time when you must decide whether to accept Bradshaw's extortion demand. It's these little moments where you get to choose who you go or what you would say to make these cases interesting. It made me feel like I played the role of this character in WWE.

A few other features are optional and mandatory targets for some of the Road to WrestleMania matches. These tasks - jumping off the top of steel cage, beat anyone in a couple of minutes, etc. - is cool in itself, because they lock characters, costumes, and districts, but the fact that most are introduced with Superstar explain why he wants to do something really drives home your reason for doing what it is you are task to do. Shawn Michaels's whole history shows that he is not ready to retire, so you feel for him when he explains why he will vault into the cage or bust Jericho open.
