"Nice guys or girls finish last." There's some truth in that statement. When my brother was still a newbie in relationships, he had a girlfriend who broke his heart. During the relationship, I could see the wrong things he was doing, it's just that I wanted him to learn things on his own. I don't want to interfere, I care for him that I don't want him to think that I'm meddling with the relationship.
He was treating his girl back then like the girl was a goddess. He was such a gentleman that when I asked them what they do when they're alone, he proudly told me that they "pray". They were both religious, I had no problem with that, but I felt that the girl was somehow also looking for something else.
After a month or two, my sister called me up and told me that my brother confided to her. He was crying when he confided with my sister and told here that his girl run off with someone else, somebody who the girl only knew for a week.
I knew that the new guy didn't pray with my brother's girl. I knew that he did something else to get the girl.
It's been several years now, my brother is happily married and it seems that he's learned a lot out of life. He's now a law enforcement agent, and from what I can tell, he gets all the actions (whatever it is) in his life.
The lesson in this story is that you should not be a nice guy/nice girl all of the time. You must have some sense of excitement and adventure. You must be able to keep the interest of your partner and get them out of the doldrums of life. Be adventurous, life is too short to be good all the time.
Now listen carefully. To get your ex back you should plan these things as soon as possible, your ex is not going to be around forever...They will eventually going to find somebody else and they are going to hook up with them...They are going to fall in love, they are going to have sex...so on and so forth...
