We wonder if a dog knows the difference between breakfast and dinner. But many dog owners do feed their pooches twice a day breakfast and dinner so providing some flavor options actually makes sense. Even dogs get sick of eating the same thing day after day! Plus, if you have a dog that inhales his food without even chewing, feeding him twice a day is typically better because he'll eat smaller portions. But if you feed your dog once a day, then why not surprise him with breakfast or make the day really special by serving him breakfast in bed! Yes, dogs definitely have their likes and dislikes. Some will wolf down one type of food yet not touch another brand. But even if dogs don't really care what they eat, it makes us feel good that we can provide a scrumptious meal for them. They're who we come home to after a long day at work, the ones who cuddle with us when we're sad and who love us unconditionally.
