On long runs you can be checking your quest log, inventory and chating with friends. - When you enter a new map region always go to the main town. If you need directions, just ask a city guard. They will give you directions to trainers, auction houses, mailboxes, item vendors and other such necessities. They will even place a flag on the mini-map to guide you in the right direction. A small golden arrow will also point towards the goal if they are not in the immediate area. - Auto looting will save you a lot of valuable time. Loot everything after a kill by pressing shift and right click over the body.
- Killing things that are a few levels below you is an excellent way to grind out a level. You will minimise the amount of damage you sustain and you will gain valuable experience in kills, which you can apply to killing more powerful creatures. If you are ever strugling with a quest then do some level grinding to get your levels up, then complete your quest.
