It's on our legs, it's on our arms, it's on our head, it's in our arm pits, it's on our privates it's everywhere!
As men, we don't let it bother us too much. We do get our hair cut, shave our face and maybe a "private" trim but other than that hair can go about it's business.
Women are a totally different story. They start at the top with their head hair. It gets styled and permed, gelled and sprayed straightened and curled, colored and clipped. That's ongoing. Then we move down to the eye brows. They "need" to be plucked and shaped. Eye lashes get liner gooped on. Any trace of sideburns, mustache or beard gets plucked, waxed and lasered. Working our way down we trim the special areas. Or there is the Kojak look (if you are old enough to know who Kojak is then you get the reference, if not tough!). Legs are the last piece of the hair puzzle. They need to be free of hair.
Not all women worry about all of these areas and some let it all grow. To each his own.
Personally I am slowly going bald. I see no point in growing my hair and trying to hide the bald spots. I haven't paid for a haircut for 20 years. I have clippers at home and take it all off once a month. I hate shaving so I only do that once a week. I do some personal grooming downstairs and that's it.
If you are an athlete, you may shave your arms, legs, chest etc. to go faster in the water or on the track. Bodybuilders also shave it all off.
All in all we have an ongoing job of personal hair grooming that we are stuck with. Unless you want to go Grizzly Adams (yet another old reference) it's gonna take some time and attention to get all those follicles where you want them.
