In this article, I'm going to explore the pain of the break up and tell you that it's alright to cry. It's normal. After all were only humans and losing someone we love is definitely painful.
The worst pain imaginable is having someone you love tell you that they don't want to see you anymore. That is more painful than having your legs amputated without anesthesia. Most people would rather take their life than face the pain of separation. That is because without a doubt break ups are painful.
All of us at one time or another experienced such pain, in fact everybody who's ever been fortunate enough to have fallen in love is vulnerable to such a situation.
So, if you are sitting around with your heart feeling like it's been ripped out of your chest that is understandable. It's normal after a break up. Even though most people would eventually recover and move on, the scar of that experience would mark them all throughout their life.
If you've just been in a break up then cry! Shout! Let it out. Don't keep it in. Though it's a usual risk for experiencing love, when it happens it is very disorienting.
Of course you will survive this, you will one day be happy again. Who knows, you might even get back together but that is for the future. Right here, right now there is pain and there's no use pretending it doesn't exist. Let it out. The healing process can only begin after you admit that there's indeed a wound that needs to be healed. Just don't forget that you will survive this and most probably would come out of it wiser.
Remember what doesn't kill you would only make you stronger.
